Conceptualized and brought to life by Workshop Of An Architect (WOAA), this calm, minimalist workspace mirrors the values of transparency, material honesty, and spatial clarity.

Designed for architect Manthan Mevada, the workspace is rooted in simplicity and function. Every detail reflects an unfiltered architectural language—RCC ceilings left exposed, electrical conduits in plain sight, and furniture crafted from untreated wood and plywood polished with oil-based finishes. The studio is not only a reflection of the client’s personality but also a celebration of architecture in its purest form.

Natural light plays a starring role in the spatial experience. With east and north-facing glass façades softened by sheer white cotton curtains, the space glows throughout the day—subtly shifting in tone like a paper lantern. This interplay of raw material and filtered light gives the studio a meditative quality, making it ideal for creative immersion.

Spatial planning was approached with precision. A large central desk anchors the studio’s workflow, supported by a flexible assistant station that doubles as a model-making bench. A cozy corner tucked into the southeast encourages informal meetings and creative dialogue, while a strategically placed bookshelf by the entry not only adds character but also conceals the restroom, maintaining spatial elegance.
