The design brief was straightforward: Simple, Clean, and Minimal. But the response from Devanshi Doshi and Shivam Vaidya, co-founders of Studio Deshi, goes far beyond aesthetic restraint. A Seamless Flow of Space and Sentiment

At the heart of the apartment lies a custom pivot swing—not just a spatial divider but a sculptural gesture that creates a visual pause between the formal living area and the relaxed dining-balcony zone. The interiors revolve around a soft, earthy color palette with beige, terracotta, and natural wood tones forming the base.

In the living room, a white oak sofa with cane detailing, paired with a Kangaroo chair, evokes the spirit of Indian craftsmanship with Scandinavian clarity. The curved ceiling, softly lit with indirect lighting, creates a cocoon-like feel that connects the rooms without breaking flow.

The kitchen, open to the living area, offers a bold contrast with a chevron-patterned backsplash—a singular design element that adds energy to the otherwise calming tones.

Rooted in Tradition, Refined for Today
