In a world where spaces often separate work from play, The Experience Space chooses to do the opposite. Designed by Buildtrek, an architecture and interior design studio known for its concept-first approach, this project redefines what a creative studio can be—a tactile, collaborative, multi-generational environment that feels as intuitive as it does inspiring.

Located in an urban context but disconnected from urban chaos, The Experience Space is sculpted to host art, craft, and curiosity under one expressive roof. Taking cues from Paleolithic caves—the world’s earliest creative shelters—the studio integrates ancient spatial rhythms with contemporary usability. But it’s not a themed space. It’s a living narrative in arches, textures, and light, crafted to bring communities together.
Art lives here—in every arch and edge
The design begins with intention, not instruction. The entryway is defined by abstract arches that feel carved rather than built. Sunlight streams through expansive windows. Earth-toned walls and circular motifs in the flooring create a seamless canvas where children, adults, and creators feel equally welcome.
Spread across distinct zones—a Kids Zone, a pottery studio, and a flexible Studio Space—the layout is intuitive, almost like wandering through different stages of one big story. Bamboo chandeliers hang above tactile benches made from raw timber logs, while conical ceiling details lend a sculptural rhythm to the air above. Each space offers its own sensory chapter—designed not to direct, but to invite.

More than a studio: a shared cultural ground
The Experience Space is not just for art—it’s about exchange. Designed with coworking nooks, community tables, and flexible programming areas, it evolves with every gathering. It’s where a pottery class becomes a conversation, and a kids’ workshop becomes a ripple of ideas across age groups.

This layered flexibility is what Buildtrek does best. Founded by Kanav Arora, the firm specializes in architecture that responds to emotion, engagement, and purpose. Whether it’s a home, workspace, or public venue, Buildtrek’s work is driven by storytelling through design. The Experience Space is a clear reflection of their belief that architecture must feel—and not just function.
A structure that doesn’t shout, but sings
From façade to furniture, everything in The Experience Space leans into restraint and resonance. The white walls become a background for shadows to dance. Arched thresholds give movement to form. Even the palette—natural, earthy, and unforced—feels like it was plucked from the terrain it sits on.

It’s a project that respects how people move, how children see, and how ideas breathe. And in doing so, it carves out a new definition of what a modern studio inspired by the past can look and feel like.
