On the edges of a fast-developing cityscape, a tranquil design intervention rises from reclaimed farmland—Triad, a 4,300 sq. ft. eco-retreat designed by EcoMind Studio, redefines what it means to live lightly on the earth. A sculptural expression of minimalism and symmetry, this nature retreat is more than a weekend getaway—it’s an architectural meditation on balance, form, and function.
A Design That Begins with Geometry
At the heart of Triad’s architectural language is the equilateral triangle—a form chosen not just for its mathematical symmetry but for its ability to anchor the spatial flow of the project. Every aspect of the built environment—its layout, rooflines, and room composition—echoes this geometric principle, turning the site’s unusual shape into a bold design narrative.

Three cottages arranged around a shared pool and deck form the resort’s communal core, while a more secluded fourth unit offers a cantilevered structure that makes a dramatic statement. Outdoor showers, Jacuzzis, and green courts surround the cottages, crafting a seamless blend of architecture and landscape.
Built for Connection and Calm
Inside and out, Triad fosters stillness. The built form opens itself up to nature—fluid transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces create a rhythm of retreat and engagement. The open-plan interiors extend into outdoor courts, shaded alcoves, and cast-in-situ seating, offering tactile moments for quiet contemplation or group interaction.
Careful spatial choreography ensures that even in a shared environment, solitude and privacy are respected—every view framed, every path intentional.

Sustainable Materials Meet Minimal Design
The architectural language of EcoMind Studio always puts the environment first. At Triad, a lightweight PUF panel and steel structure form the sloped roofs—ensuring efficiency, insulation, and minimal environmental impact. Interiors are defined by polished in-situ furniture, complemented by ACP and glass partitions that introduce lightness without losing intimacy.
Ceiling finishes enhance both comfort and character. The use of innovative PVC ceiling systems offers superior insulation and durability, while bamboo lighting from ethical brand Mianzi softens the atmosphere with an artisanal touch.

EcoMind Studio: Designing with Intention
Founded on a deep respect for ecology, EcoMind Studio consistently crafts projects that balance sustainable practices with spatial clarity. Their work is a fusion of earth-conscious materials and modern forms—designs that not only reduce impact but enhance human experience. With Triad, the studio showcases its ability to mold narrative, geometry, and natural systems into spaces that feel as effortless as they are intentional.
